bored at home, so i took some pointless photos. i have a brand new PINK wrist watch :)

Project: Corset

so in school we had to make a corset. for me it was a dream come true, since i have made many corsets myself and i wanted to make ANOTHER one! so this is how it came out....

all in all, i'm really REALLY happy with this corset. it's very smooth and it feels good. and it looks good as well :P

A Child's Dress

finally, a sewing related update. so yes, i went back to school and our first project was to make a dress for a child. we used special fabrics, i used a very thick, stiff taffeta. i made this dress for my dear friend's daughter, i hope they like it :)

^detail shot :P never mind my wonky sewing, but hey, i haven't been sewing ANYTHING for 3 months so it takes some time to get used to it again! but to be honest... i have missed my sewing machine so much it actually hurts!

^THIS picture shows the colour best: it's very dark blue, almost black. there's dark blue lining on the dress. the fabric is so stiff it doesn't even need tulle underneath to give the hem some lift.
